You are one of the last 50 homes in the service area who has not yet had their water meter/transmitter replaced.
This project was financed in part by a $1,000,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. The project started in fall of 2022 due to supply chain issues with approximately 50% of citizens on estimated reads. Our installer Kentrel, Inc. has been reaching out to all customers at the phone numbers we have on record and scheduling the replacement appointments at your properties free of charge to you. As the project AND the grant funding period nears completion, it is critical that we get your property scheduled and replacements completed. While we have been patient and flexible in making arrangements to replace the meters with our installer, the failure to schedule or provide access for meter replacement is grounds for discontinuance of service based on MAWSAs long-standing rules and regulations (Section 135).
