Meter Replacement Project Update

Nov 25, 2024

Attention: If you are a MAWSA customer and still have not had your water meter/transmitter replaced this message is for you.

You are one of the last 100 homes in the service area who has not yet had their water meter/transmitter replaced.

This project was financed in part by a $1,000,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority.  The project started in fall of 2022 due to supply chain issues with approximately 50% of citizens on estimated reads.  Our installer Kentrel, Inc. has been reaching out to all customers at the phone numbers we have on record and scheduling the replacement appointments at your properties free of charge to you.  After progressing through the project and nearing completion, it is critical that we get your property scheduled and replacements completed.

3rd Notices were posted as door hangers on Monday, August 19, 2024 on the remaining locations, please contact Kentrel at 800-437-9200 or call the MAWSA office at 717-665-2737 and choose option 7 to schedule your meter replacement appointment right away.

If there are any questions, please contact MAWSA at 717.665.2737 or on-line at mawsa.org/contact-us.

Estimated Readings

If you bill read type lists “office estimate” you are holding an estimated bill. Please reach out to “billing” or “payments” at 717.665.2737 immediately for troubleshooting.
