October 10, 2025: Meter Replacement Project Closing
Our installer has begun making final contact attempts for the few remaining locations in need of a water meter replacement.
We recognize we’ve had trouble connecting, but your immediate cooperation is imperative to complete this critical step.
Our project window is closing, and we must secure your final installation for you to avoid potentially incurring installation fees.
Update July 23, 2025
Attention: If you are a MAWSA customer and still have not had your water meter/transmitter replaced this message is for you.
You are one of the last 30 homes in the service area who has not yet had their water meter/transmitter replaced.
This project was financed in part by a $1,000,000 grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority. The project started in fall of 2022 due to supply chain issues with approximately 50% of citizens on estimated reads. Our installer Kentrel, Inc. has been reaching out to all customers at the phone numbers we have on record and scheduling the replacement appointments at your properties free of charge to you. The grant funding period will be wrapping up quickly and properties who have not scheduled their replacements are subject to potential discontinuance of service based on MAWSAs long-standing rules and regulations (Section 135).
Please contact Kentrel at 800-437-9200 or call the MAWSA office at 717-665-2737 and choose option 7 to schedule your meter replacement appointment right away. If there are any questions, please contact MAWSA at 717.665.2737 or online at mawsa.org/contact-us.
