Fuller Drive Road Closure: Water Main Break Notice & Repair Details

Sep 11, 2026

Happy Friday! We’ve got some unexpected Friday morning action down on the far southwest side of town. A water main break along Fuller Drive has our crews heading out to get things patched up and running smoothly.

If your morning commute usually takes you through that area, you’ll want to pivot your route today. Here is the lowdown on what’s happening, what’s closed, and what it means for your morning routine.

Fuller Drive Road Closure Details

To give our repair teams room to safely dig in and fix the line, Fuller Drive is temporarily shut down to all through traffic.

  • The Closure Area: Fuller Drive is closed starting from S. Penn Street, running its entire length, and continuing around the corner onto S. Cherry Street at Holtz Alley.

  • Timeline: Repairs are kicking off immediately this morning.

Will Your Water Be Out?

Here is the good news: No! Outside of a minor traffic headache, this repair is not expected to impact water service to local customers in any way. You can keep your morning coffee brewing and your taps running as usual.

Our team is working quickly to complete the repairs and reopen the street as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience, give our crews a little extra breathing room if you’re driving nearby, and have a great weekend!

Need to be sure we have your number and email for potential system alerts?
